Accessibility Statement

Committed to accessibility for all.

Solid Properties & Investments is committed to making sites accessible for all, including people with disabilities. We are continuously improving our website to comply with increased accessibility standards, guidelines, and to make the browsing experience better for everyone.

Accessibility for all

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Internal efforts

Whenever possible, we aim to adhere our website to WCAG 2.1 Level AA which includes:

  • Perceivable - Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
  • Operable - User interface components and navigation must be operable.
  • Understandable - Information and the operation of user interface must be understandable.
  • Robust - Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.

Starting in January 2021, we’ve made continuous efforts to improve our website content to be more compliant with Level AA. We’re adding alternative (alt) text to all images in articles. Lastly, we built an internal checklist based on WCAG guidelines to help us audit our site. Once the audits are complete, we’ll work to improve any sites or pages that are not up to Level AA standards.
